Ágnes Kovács Palásti and her family farm on their Venyige homestead in the middle of a plain in Orgovány, in the heart of the Kiskunság. They engage in agricultural activities and have a traditional homestead typical of the Alföld (Great Plain) with 25 hectares on which they cultivate a vineyard, orchards and fields for ploughing.

One share of the produce is processed on location (wine, brandy and jam), the rest is sold as raw ingredients. The homestead buildings were renovated in keeping with the original style, the inside has been furnished to fulfill the requirements of today. The yard is the masterpiece of Ágnes’s father, a park with original features and plants to provide relaxation for those looking for peace and quiet.

The Venyige homestead is run by the fourth generation of the family, their goal is to preserve and pass on the traditions which have developed over these past decades.
