The Haluska family enterprise has been dealing with the breeding of native Mangalica pigs, which takes place by keeping the original characteristics of the native species with strict regulations and registration procedures. The pigs are kept in a natural environment, therefore their meat has a truly unique taste.

Production of the small-scale farmer’s Mangalica products began following 10 years of breeding as background. Besides smoked products carcase meat is also sold. Mangalica meat is liked not only for its taste and aroma but because its benefits for consumption are many: it has high nutritional value, high micro-nutrient content, minimal cooking-frying loss and a favourable fatty tissue consistency.
